Biography

Marcin Lawenda¹ obtained his M.Sc. in Computer Science, specializing in Parallel and Distributed Computation, from Poznań University of Technology² in 2000. He completed his Ph.D. at the same institution in 2006. With over 25 years of experience, he has been affiliated with the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center³. Dr. Lawenda serves as the project coordinator for HiDALGO2⁴ and leads various national and European initiatives focused on global technology challenges, including HiDALGO⁵, AMUNATCOLL⁶, CoeGSS⁷, e-IRGSP5⁸, RINGrid⁹, DORII¹⁰, PRACE¹¹, Powiew¹², and SGIGrid¹³. His research interests encompass parallel and distributed environments, scheduling, and grid technologies, particularly within applied sciences. He has authored and co-authored more than 150 reports and papers published in conference proceedings and journals. Additionally, he has been a member of the Polish Information Processing Society¹⁴ since 2000.
